OWLS / Sr. Adults

Older-adults Wanting Lunch Served (OWLS)

OWLS is for anyone who fits that description!

Simple and direct . . . but only part of the description of this group: Fellowship is name of their game! The OWLS group was formed in the fall of 2005, in response to the desire of retirees to get together, have lunch, and catch up with each other. Led by group consensus, this group meets once a month to do their favorite things: enjoy good food and fellowship. During Advent and Lent, they meet weekly and also enjoy a special worship service with lunch afterward.

The OWLS are open to the community and would be delighted to have you join! We love to have guests! We meet for lunch – or brunch – and fellowship on the 2nd Tuesdays of the month, at 12:00 p.m. (During Lent and Advent we meet at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesdays to participate in worship and soup lunch.)

For more information, please call the church office at 630-665-3384.
