Lutheran Church of the
Master is a congregation where all are welcome and Jesus Christ is Lord. Our
worship services reflect not just the mission, vision, and values of the LCM
congregation, but also their spiritual gifts of music and leadership.
Holy Communion is celebrated at each of our
worship services on a weekly basis, and Sunday School is offered for
children (preschool through 6th grade) during the 10:00 a.m. service
each week. Of course, families are always welcome and encouraged to worship
together!
Here are some brief profiles of our 3 weekend worship services:
Saturday at 5:00 p.m.
Come in a suit, come in jeans, come in shorts and flip flops. Come worship our
God. Music is led by the praise band For the Cross on the 2nd
and 4th Saturdays, while a pianist typically leads the music on
other weekends. This service is "blended," incorporating both
traditional and contemporary expressions in the spoken word and in song. It's a
great way to relax into the hands of God and experience his love for you.
Sunday at 8:30 a.m.
This traditional “Chapel” worship service would likely appeal to early risers,
those who prefer traditional liturgy and music (read: organ accompaniment), and
Sunday School teachers who desire a Sunday morning worship time adjacent to
their teaching time.
Sunday at 10:00 a.m.
This is a blended, but “leaning contemporary” service, with the inclusion of a
Praise Band and a traditional choir on a weekly basis – for example: N’Soul
and Master’s Voices, or N’Soul and children’s choir
Jazzy 4 Jesus or cherub choir Grace Notes, For the Cross
and Master’s Ringers, etc.
