Worship & Music Committee is where ‘the rubber meets the road’ in making sure worship services are conducted at Lutheran Church of the Master. We take the vision of the Pastor and the input of the Music Director and combine both liturgy and music into one theme for the congregation to follow during worship. All the myriad details of the worship service itself such as setting the altar, lighting the candles, decorating the sanctuary, seating the worshipers, making sure they can hear and directing their movements for Communion and other events are involved. Some of the groups responsible for these activities are Altar Guild, Ushers, Choirs (both voice and bells), assisting lay ministers (ALM’s), Bands and Acolytes, along with additional support through the Nursery. Our work is done in the context of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Our goal is to enrich the worship experience for our members, attract new seekers and fulfill God’s mandate to feed His flock.
